Anglais - Pillards de la Mer du Nord: Champs de Gloire a été financé sur la plateforme de Crowdfunding Kickstarter (Voir la campagne) le 23 mars 2017, la campagne a duré 22 jours. 3 175 personnes ont aidé au financement du jeu, dont le montant demandé était de 120 000,00 $NZ. Grâce à ces 3 175 personnes le jeu a pu être financé à hauteur de 489 807,00 $NZ, soit ~408,17 %.
